Strange Ole Week

For a start I seem to be sleeping a whole lot more than my usual 6 hours needed.  I am finding it hard to wake up even after 9 hours.  It almost feels I am sleeping my days away this week.  Maybe I just had a lot of catching up to do.

As my Sarah and Co. were off to Spain until next Wednesday she brought the smaller of their animals ( 2 Guinea Pigs, and a Hamster) round for me to look after here rather than me spend the days in their house.  My niece Beverley took the Rabbit and of course the poor old dog died a few weeks ago, so there was no need for me to look after them all in their own home.

I found a little corner of the room to put them in and they seem to have been very happy to be here but I will be very happy when they go home.  I am not very much an animal lover and especially for small ones.

MARMITE

HONEY

Those that know me are aware that Sarah and Co. were in a nasty car accident on their way to the airport last Tuesday and the air ambulance, ambulances from 2 counties, fire engines and police all arrived on scene very quickly.  Sarah, Mark and Aimee all suffered with whip lash, Aimee has some nasty scrapes on her face, but apart from that they have assured me that they are ok.

After being picked up by a family member and him driving them back home to pick up another of their cars, they were once again off to the airport where they managed to catch their plane on time.

Yesterday I had a phone call from the eldest G/Daughter Aimee from Spain to tell me she was quite ill and has spent most of the holiday confined to bed.  Her main worry that was that she is ruining the others holiday.  Poor little cow.  That Spanish trip seems to have been not meant to be.  I will be glad to see them all home safely on Wednesday.

I say Wednesday, but in fact it will be very late Tuesday when they land back in England.  They will go straight home and sleep for a while then come to me and pick up the animals.

I spent a day over at Beverley's in the middle of the week which broke the week up and was very pleasant.  Someone kindly did a clean out of Beverley's laptop for her and now she nor I can figure out how to get her linked up again with it on her wireless connection.  Christ knows what is wrong with that, it isn't often a computer beats me.  She is going to have to have that professionally looked at now.

Was nice that my Eldest Sister also popped in there on that day and stayed for a few hours.  Normally she only pops in for a few minutes and it's usually hard to get her to keep her arse on a seat.  But she also must have been enjoying herself to stay so long.

It's Bank Holiday Monday today and as I look out of my window I can see all the small Yachts racing around the Isle of Wight.  Makes a change to have the sun actually shining this Bank Holiday.

Today and tomorrow are going to be nothing days for me as I wait for my Family to arrive back home safely.  I do so hate it when they leave the country.  I worry myself sick until they are all safe back in dear old Blighty.
