Just reading back, re.Postmen....I've had an on going row with them and the Post Office....They keep walking across my front garden, from door to door...I've asked politly....Got the shotgun out....(No! No!) But still......! And, do you know, l've had letters/cards from ALL over the world...That just say... Willie, Blandford, Dorset, England. AND, they get here. Even quicker, without a stamp......! :0)

Many years ago, my Mother received a letter that simply had "The lady at the bottom of the hill with chickens in her garden" and then the name of the town on the envelope.
Thanks Chilly. Nothing fancy yet as I don't fancy using anything but the editor yet.
At the moment I am trying to figure out how to remove a dead blogger blog from the friends connect thing.
When I click on my avatar on the friends connect it shows me as having two active blogs. Can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the one I don't want there.
I can't argue with you regarding the coding within the new style profiles. I have never seen such ridiculous coding in my life. Christ knows who the heck built the skinning of those profiles. They made a right balls up of it.
The coding in the boards and old style profiles though had a great deal of scope and so easy for even a novice to learn.
You know I coulda swore I'd left a comment in here, but guess I didn't. My mind seems to be slipping as this isn't the first this week that I'd thought I'd posted when I hadn't.
Hi! Sorry to trouble you. I saw your post on Blogger forum on facing problem in importing files. Have they solve the problem for you? I am facing similar problem.
Hi Sandy! Is this what you wanted??? It's a code for "Read more" button. http://wonderful-tricks.blogspot.com/2009/09/customizing-display-of-read-more.html
That happens matie. You seem to have had/having a hard few months. Hopefully by Christmas all will be sorted and you can get on with an ordinary life again.
Yayy I did this one right rofl
ReplyDeleteLol, Blogger is fun to learn actually.
ReplyDeleteIt will keep us amused for a few days and lower our blood pressure, rofl.

ReplyDeleteDamn Sandy!! Very impressed with this skin! You indeed did a great clean job with it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Chilly. Nothing fancy yet as I don't fancy using anything but the editor yet.

Aww I love the colours and the way you have it set up here Sandy :) I'll be back and forth trying to work it out myself lol.
ReplyDeleteCool, looks like your on the ball getting things done. :)
ReplyDeleteI see you got the drop down menu installed. YaY!! Knew you could do it!
Was a bit worried about doing that as I hate going into the blogger html.
ReplyDeleteChrist knows why it scares me after all the coding I have done on Yuku.
Well if it scares you then I don't stand a chance rofl.
ReplyDeleteAwww, lol. It's not as bad as I make out actually. Especially as they now have a decent preview.
ReplyDeleteYaw are sodding crazy! The coding here is really simple compared to that crappy stuff they have on yucko these days.
ReplyDeleteBut soooooo glad we met up online because all yaw are such a pleasure! I enjoy much posting with yaw!

And I see you have the comment section nicely coloured to! Mine looks dull and dreary so obviously I've done something wrong somewhere rofl.
ReplyDeleteIt will have to wait till I get back though; to tired to even try and figure it out tonight.
The colors take on the colours of the links and text.
ReplyDeleteYou can change those in design - Template Designer

ReplyDeleteRofl. You got lost. You left the comment you are looking for in my Guest Book.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo finally made it back in here to hahaha.
ReplyDeleteSlowly catching up with everything and just wanted to drop in and say hello :)
Hi! Sorry to trouble you. I saw your post on Blogger forum on facing problem in importing files. Have they solve the problem for you? I am facing similar problem.
ReplyDeleteHi Smallkucing. Any post I made on the Blogger forum would have been made a while ago and to tell the truth I have forgotten what I would have asked.
ReplyDeleteWhatever it was, there was no answer for, so I can say that no, they didn't solve my problem of that time.
I just know that I brought over all my posts manually.
I might have to start saving all my pics to PB so that when I'm not home I can still access it and try and build my blog a bit better.
ReplyDeleteGosh. That is a lot of work moving it manually.
ReplyDeleteI managed to import the blog in the end
Thank you once again for replying my enquiry :D
I'm pleased you managed to get yours sorted.
ReplyDelete@ Sperical, that's a pain because Yuku hosting is far, far better.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandy!

Oh cheers for that Chilly. I will have a play with that later.
ReplyDeleteHad lots of plans on working on my blog but life here got in the way lol.
